Simple healthy meals are a must! Not everyone has time to make gourmet meals with their busy schedules! The viral cottage cheese flatbread is an absolute MUST try!

Man, it’s hot outside! Though, when it’s super cold, I complain about that. I just need to be thankful!

Not much else going on in my life currently that I have to share about! Just working out and doing some jiu-jitsu. I was really nervous to start, but I like it! It’s a good environment for beginners to learn. Still get my butt kicked every single day, but that’s how you learn!

Nevertheless, the viral cottage flatbread pizza! One my favorite simple cheap healthy meals! The flat bread itself only takes 2 ingredients to make! It contains 40 grams (g) of protein for 400 calories just on it’s own (it’s a HUGE flatbread)! How amazing!!

Why eat this over regular pizza? Well, regular pizza contains a lot more calories, so you have to find lower calorie alternatives that you can eat on a regular basis!

Does that mean you have to give up actual pizza? No! Does this mean carbohydrates are bad for you or you have to give them up to lose weight? Absolutely….NOT!

It’s just nice when you can eat delicious food all the time and still lose weight and/or build muscle! This is great for those who like the ketogenic diet (keto) as well! I don’t do keto, I also don’t believe you need to cut out carbs to lose weight!

Lets get into it, one the tastiest simple healthy meals for weight loss, the infamous, viral (currently), cottage cheese flatbread pizza!!!

DELCIOUS Simple Healthy Meals – Cottage Cheese Flatbread Pizza

Simple healthy meals for dinner, this viral recipe has been everywhere! I have another protein pizza recipe, the Healthy Pizza Recipe For Weight Loss – EXTREMELY Simple Recipe: Lose Fat recipe, which I personally prefer because I eat carbs!

Though, I love the cottage cheese flatbread pizza too! For some reason, it filled me up so much more! The entire recipe has 67 g of protein for 585 calories! The pizza is HUGE.

One thing before getting into the recipe, losing fat is all about CALORIES and CALORIES OUT. If you are eating more calories than your body requires, you WILL GAIN WEIGHT. You have to eat in a caloric deficit to lose weight. There is no recipe out there that will cause you to lose weight if you are eating too many calories.

I have to add that in there, I’m not trying to deceive anyone. There’s so much misinformation on the internet and I don’t like it.

Anyways…..lets get into the ingredients!!!

1. Ingredients

1. 216 g of full fat cottage cheese

3. 84 g  of fat free mozzarella cheese

4. 126 g of pizza sauce

5. 1 teaspoon of garlic powder

6. 1 teaspoon of onion powder

7. 1 teaspoon of oregano

2. Directions

To make the flat bread, this is what you do

  1. Blend up the 216 g of cottage cheese and 2 eggs
  2. Put parchment paper on a rectangle pan
  3. GREASE THE PARCHMENT PAPER – forgot to do this and my flatbread was stuck to the parchment paper
  4. Bake it in the oven at 375 degree Fahrenheit for 20 minutes, or until you see it becoming golden brown

Pizza sauce instructions

  1. In a bowel, measure out 126 g of pizza sauce
  2. Mix in the teaspoon of garlic powder, onion powder and oregano
  3. Mix

Putting together the pizza

  1. Once the flat bread is done baking, pour the pizza sauce we created over it
  2. On top of that, sprinkle on 84 g of fat free mozzarella cheese
  3. Put this in oven at 375 degree Fahrenheit for about 10-15 minutes
  4. Let it cool for about 15 minutes and then enjoy!

That’s it, it’s that simple. Nothing else to it! All that’s left to do is enjoy it!!!! You can add any toppings you want, of course!

Whatever your goals are, eating healthy delicious food doesn’t have to be hard! You can eat pizza like this EVERY DAY. You can hit your protein goals as well!

You can add any toppings you’d like. As you can see from mine, I added some beef pepperoni!

Does this mean you have to give up take out pizza? NO! You can eat that sometimes too!
