5 Easy Low Calorie Breakfast High In Protein Ideas to Lose 50 Pounds of Fat

A  high protein low calorie breakfast is critical to get my day started to keep me satiated and ready to tackle the day. The food that I’ll be touching on really helped me in losing fat and building muscle in the past.

Low Calorie Breakfast

It’s funny whenever I write these articles about fat loss, I just got done eating some food that is very high in calories. I got a deep dish pizza with triple beef peperoni on it; the pizza was covered in peperoni and grease lol.

#Sorry #notsorry I always have to tell some dumb story prior to getting into the actual content. That also shows, it’s all about balance. You don’t have to eliminate anything, just plan accordingly.

Healthy low calorie breakfast ideas can be tough to find and it took me a while playing around with foods to find some that I can eat on a daily basis.

This article will be all about quick and easy low calorie recipes

Low Calorie Breakfast

1. Mouth Watering Gourmet Soft and Cheesy Egg Whites

I might have went a little crazy on the name there, but you need to have a low calorie breakfast with eggs. Here are the instructions:

  1. Pour 276 milliliter (ml) of egg whites into a bowel. If you’re already lost, I’m sorry
  2. Cook them in the microwave for 3 minutes. That cooks them in my microwave and makes them into one big piece that is soft and fluffy
  3. Throw a slice of reduced fat American cheese on the egg whites and wait for it to melt
  4. Mix that piece of cheese in with the egg whites

I get my liquid egg whites and reduced fat American cheese from ALDI. You can click on the pictures below to take you to their website. No, I’m not sponsored by them, or anyone.

You can also do other sorts of cheese if you’d like, but this is what I do. This ends up being a total of 195 calories and 34 grams(g) of protein. It’s a decent volume of food as well.

If you want to make a low calorie breakfast burrito out of this, you can put them in a low calorie bread such as Joseph’s lavash bread. That’ll add 120 calories and 12 g of protein.

I’ve never done that, I just eat the egg whites with cheese every single morning because I love the taste. By itself, it’s an excellent breakfast under 200 calorires.

2. Creamy and Rich Enhanced Greek Yogurt

Yet another low calorie breakfast for weight loss is enhanced greek yogurt. For this, all you do is mix a drink enhancer of your choosing with plain greek yogurt. The drink enhancer is 0 calories. If you aren’t into acritical sweetener, I’m sorry. No, it doesn’t cause cancer. Please read scientific literature.

I buy the great value brand fruit punch flavor from Wal-Mart. I mix it plain greek yogurt. This  gives you 17 g of protein for 100 calories.

I usually eat along with my cheesy egg whites every single morning. Right away in the morning I’m getting 51 g of protein for 295 calories. This makes for an excellent low calorie filling breakfast.

Yes, you could buy alreay flavored yogurt, but that would less protein for the a amount of calories in them.

3. Delicious Soft As A Baby’s Butt Kodiak Buttermilk Pancakes

I’m in no shape or form telling you to eat a baby’s butt. I’m just saying these pancakes are soft.

You can buy this pancake mix at really any store. Each serving when mixed with just water is 14 g of protein and 190 calories. I usually mix up two servings and make a giant pancake for a total of 28 g of protein and 380 calories.

I top it off with sugar free syrup. Now, if you’re a little baby and don’t like sugar free syrup, you can mix in a little bit of lite syrup with the sugar free syrup. The taste of the lite syrup takes over the slight bitterness of the sugar free syrup.

To be honest though, you get used to the taste of the sugar free syrup.

One serving of sugar free syrup from Wal-Mart is only 15 calories and that’s if you even use the entire serving. So you could have a giant pancakes for a total of 395 calories and 28 g of protein. If you are craving pancakes though, these are amazing.

4. Scrumptious Protein Packed French Toast

These have been floating around Youtube and Coach Greg Doucette really helped popularize them. I like to make them my own way and you can make any modifications you want as well. You’ll need the following ingredients

  1. 300 ml liquid egg whites
  2. Pumpkin spice (you can use cinnamon as well)
  3. Vanilla extract – this will help the pumpkin spice and egg whites mix easily
  4. Any bread of your choosing – I use round top wheat bread from Wal-Mart or Aldi

Here are the steps to make the French toast – this should make 4 pieces of french toast.

  1. Pour 322 ml of egg whites into a bowel
  2. Put in 5 g of pumpkin spice – you can adjust this amount to your liking
  3. Add 6-10 drops of vanilla extract; enough to help the powder mix into the egg whites
  4. Mix all that up
  5. Soak one slice of bread at a time into the mixture you’ve made
  6. Cook on medium heat on the stove top until both sides are golden crispy brown
  7. Add 60 ml of sugar free syrup to the 4 pieces of french toast

You can add a serving of cool whip on top too to make it even more sweet. Then of course, if you want, you can add any fruit of your choosing.

If the only topping you count is two serving of the sugar free syrup, this entire meal will be 47 g of protein and 445 calories. That’s amazing.

To drink, you can have a serving of unsweetened vanilla almond milk to drink, that’s only 30 calories. The Great Value brand from Wal-Mart is my absolute favorite, it tastes so good.

I’ve linked the products in the pictures below.

5. Crunchy (Unless it Gets Soggy then Soft) and Delicious Protein Cereal

I didn’t really have a creative name for this one lol.

The protein cereal I used to buy was the Kellog’s Special K Original Multi-Grain Tough of Cinnamon. This was 210 calories for 15 g of protein for a serving (59 g). Now I can only find one with 10 g of protein, so I’m not sure if the 15 g was taken off the market or they were inappropriately reporting the protein. I used to eat this with one serving of unsweetened vanilla almond milk which was 240 milliliters (ml) and only 30 calories. It only contains 1 gram of protein.

If you wanted more protein you could use skim milk, this will give you 8 g of additional proteins for 90 calories for 240 ml serving. Along with the cereal, this is 300 calories for 18 g of protein.

If you want to spend some extra money, Fair Life Fat Free milk will give you an additional 13 g of protein for 80 calories for a 240 ml serving. Along with your cereal, you’d be getting 23 g of protein for 290 calories total.

Yes though, there are other cereals higher in protein. I’m just telling you about the one I used to eat. Here are some other ones:

  1. Specials K chocolate almond: 240 calories and 20 g of protein per serving (59 g)
  2. Premier Protein Mixed Berry Almond Cereal: 180 calories and 20 g of protein per serving (42 g)
