Healthy pizza recipe for weight loss?? I mean, who doesn’t love pizza. So if you want the BEST healthy pizza recipe for weight loss recipe, you are in the right place.
It’s EXTREMELY simple and I ate it almost every single day on my diet and when I lost 20 pounds. I mean COME ON. Shame on those people who think all you have to eat is chicken, broccoli and rice to get in shape!
This AMAZING healthy pizza for weight loss at home recipe only contains 4 main ingredients and has 81 grams of protein!!
BEST Healthy Pizza Recipe For Weight Loss
Overall, putting this together only takes about 5 minutes! Then you bake it for 12-13 minutes, or more, depending on how crispy you want it! If you want to burn the living crap out of it, you might have to bake it for an hour or something.
I just ate an entire one of these prior to writing this post. I have no self control and am a piece of trash, don’t be like me. Though, I don’t really have to feel bad, I got 81 grams (g) of protein from eating the entire pizza!
Hitting your fitness goals (I typed that as pizza goals accidentally lol, always got food on the mind) and eating delicious does NOT HAVE TO BE DIFFICULT!
The entire pizza contains 1025 calories and 81 grams of protein. I split it into 4 slices and usually eat 2 every single day at work. The slices are really big and will help fill you up. I usually eat them along with a salad!
It’s crispy and delicious!
Ingredients
The recipe only really requires 4 main ingredients. There are 3 seasonings you can use to spice up the sauce though! I’d highly recommend them!
Here are the seasoning I use in my pizza sauce
- Oregano leaves
- Garlic Powder
- Onion Powder
If you want a direct link to allow the ingredients I use, here they are:
1. Great Value Pizza Crush
2. 128 grams (g) of pizza sauce
3. 84 g of fat free mozzarella cheese
4. 84 g low moisture mozzarella cheese
Then I’ll link to the three seasoning I put in my sauce as well. I just 1 teaspoon (tsp) of each:
1. Oregano Leaves
2. Garlic Powder
3. Onion Powder
Directions
Lets start off by making the sauce, but before that, turn your oven on and set it to 450 degrees Fahrenheit so that it can start warming up. Now how to get the pizza sauce ready:
- In a bowel, measure out 128 g of pizza sauce
- Add 1 teaspoon of oregano leaves to the sauce
- Add 1 teaspoon of garlic powder to the sauce
- Add 1 teaspoon of onion powder to the sauce
- Mix it all up!
Now in a different bowel do the following
- Measure out 84 g of fat free mozzarella cheese
- Measure out 84 g of low moisture mozzarella cheese
- Mix the 2 cheese’s
If you want, you can only use fat free mozzarella cheese. This will make the protein even more high protein and lower in calories. I like using both because the low moisture cheese has a more soft and stringy consistency to it.
Alrighty! Lets start putting this healthy pizza recipe together!
- Evenly layer on the pizza sauce onto the pizza crust (remember to remove pizza crust from the plastic prior to doing this lol). I then add some additional oregano leaves because I like the taste
- Evenly sprinkle on the cheese
- Bake the pizza for 10-12 minutes once your oven is ready or however long you want!
- Cut it up into 4 pieces and enjoy!!!
That’s it, literally, those are all the steps! If you messed that up, I don’t really know what do tell you.
Each slice has 256 calories in it and has 20 grams of protein.
If you you decide to use only fat free mozzarella cheese, the entire pizza would have 920 calories and 92 grams of protein. That’s 230 calories per slice and 23 grams of protein.
You can also add whatever toppings you’d like!
I usually eat 2 slices with a bowel full of spring mix salad which has 28 g of croutons added to it.
You can wash this down with a diet drink. No, diet drinks don’t cause cancer, read my article: Pharmacist Reviews: How to Lose Belly Fat Naturally – Healthy Habits: 7 of the BEST Ways, for more about about that.
That’s it, enjoy your warm, crispy, absolutely delicious low calorie and high protein pizza! Who said losing fat had to be boring!
